February 2026 | Rennervation Foundation
February reminded us, in the most beautiful way, what this work is really all about. It was a month of showing up in big ways: filling gyms with laughter, packing bags with love, and receiving recognition that humbled us deeply. Every single moment this month was a reflection of what happens when a community truly believes in its young people. We are still riding the high of it all, and we cannot wait to share it with you.
Strike Up the Joy: National Bowling Stadium
Three hundred people walked through the doors of the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, and the energy inside was absolutely electric. Foster youth and their families filled over 65 lanes for a day that was pure, unfiltered joy from start to finish.
We are so incredibly grateful to the National Bowling Stadium for working with us to make this day a reality. Events like this do not happen without the right partners in your corner, and they showed up for our families in the most generous way. A huge thank you also goes to our donors and sponsors whose support made it possible for families to simply show up and enjoy the day together, completely free of worry.
Watching families laugh, cheer each other on, and share those small, ordinary moments that mean everything? That is exactly the kind of memory we live to create. Days like this are why we do what we do.
Packing With Purpose: 400 Backpacks, Endless Love
If you want to see what community looks like in action, this is it. Alongside our incredible partners at Comfort Cases and a room full of dedicated volunteers, we packed 400 backpacks for the foster youth we serve. Four hundred.
Each backpack is more than just a bag. Inside, every young person will find hygiene kits, books, clean clothes, a cozy blanket, and a special stuffie that was hugged by every single volunteer who helped pack it. That last detail is not a small thing. It means every child who receives one of these backpacks is holding something that has already been filled with intention and care before it ever reached their hands.
These backpacks will be distributed at camp and throughout the year, making sure our foster youth have new items they can truly call their own, carried in a stylish bag made just for them.
We are endlessly grateful to Comfort Cases for this partnership and to every volunteer who gave their time and heart to show up for these kids. This event is a powerful reminder of what is possible when a community comes together with real purpose. We could not be more proud to be part of it.
An Honor We Will Never Forget: Certificate of Recognition from Senator Cortez Masto
During the Packing With Purpose event, something unexpected and deeply moving happened. We were presented with a Certificate of Recognition by Senator Cortez Masto.
We are still a little speechless, honestly. To have our work seen and honored at that level is something we do not take lightly. This recognition belongs to every volunteer, partner, donor, and team member who has ever shown up for the youth we serve. It is a reflection of all of you as much as it is of us, and we carry it with so much gratitude.
Thank you, Senator Cortez Masto. This means more than words can say.
Looking Ahead
February was one of those months that fills you back up. Between the bowling lanes full of families, the backpacks packed with love, and an honor that brought us to our knees with gratitude, we are heading into March with our hearts full and our purpose crystal clear.
Thank you to every person who makes this mission possible. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so glad to be doing this work together. 💙
