Our camps are nestled in the wilderness of Lake Tahoe, and offer boundless opportunities for children to connect with the world around them and each other.
Here, they can find solace, create friendships, find lifelong mentors, and cultivate essential life skills beyond the confines of traditional education. For siblings separated by the foster care system, our camp reunites them in shared moments of joy and connection.
Children that are experiencing complex emotions related to their family status will be given attention, affirmation, coping strategies, and a safe place where they can leave their troubles at home.

Summer For Foster Youth
of Northern Nevada
RennerVation Foundation is thrilled to offer young individuals an unforgettable summer experience through our summer camp.
Every year, youth from disadvantaged backgrounds have the opportunity to participate in a week of exciting, educational, and engaging activities.
With your help, we can do even more. By sponsoring a week of summer camp, you provide young individuals with the chance to create lasting memories, develop new skills, and grow in a positive and stimulating environment.
INCREASED SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Campers will increase their social and emotional development by participating in group activities that allow them to build relationships with their peers.
LIFE SKILL ORIENTED ACTIVITIES
Campers will participate in activities where they will learn new life skills and increase their self-esteem, confidence, and mental well-being.
OUTDOOR SURVIVAL SKILLS
Campers will increase their decision making and problem-solving skills by participating in an engaging “Outdoor Survival Skills” program that teaches children how to turn sticks, leaves, rocks, and other natural components into tools for survival.
PRACTICING MINDFULNESS
Campers will increase their skills in conflict resolution and anger management with therapeutic programming that teaches them how to practice mindfulness and become more aware of their surroundings and energy.
This summer, we have the incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of foster youth attending our camp by helping provide them with a very special summer to remember!
One way you can join us in this mission is by purchasing supplies for activities and other fun items from our Amazon wish list! By purchasing items from our wish list, you will be directly contributing to the joy and creativity of the children at our camp! Arts and crafts activities not only provide a fun and engaging way for the children to express themselves, but they also promote important skills such as creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills.
In addition to activity supplies, our wish list also includes items such as outdoor games, sports equipment, 4th of July celebration attire, and other fun activities that will make this summer truly unforgettable for our foster youth! Your support will help create lasting memories and experiences that will positively impact the children attending our camp, for years to come.
