What an unforgettable weekend at the 2025 Great Reno Balloon Race.
From the breathtaking Dawn Patrol lighting up the early mornings, to connecting with so many wonderful faces at our booth, every moment was filled with joy and community.
One of our favorite highlights was helping launch the incredible tissue paper balloons crafted by 5th graders. Such a magical way to see their creativity take flight.
We’re so grateful to have partnered in this incredible experience and can’t wait for next year. Always an honor to be part of something that brings our community together in such a vibrant way.
She Ready Partnership
​Thanks to the amazing support of the @shereadyfoundation and our community partners, we were able to gift incredible luggage, books, and Foster Fashion merch to our foster youth and families.
We shared story time with Tiffany Haddish’s “Layla, the Last Black Unicorn” with our youngest kiddos, and wrapped it all up with laughter and joy at Tiffany’s absolutely hilarious and inspiring Reno comedy show.
A huge thank you as well to our amazing media partner @kolotv for coming out to capture this special day and share it with the community.
We are so honored and blessed to have such impactful partnerships that allow us to provide not only resources but also unforgettable memories for our foster families.
PBS RENO Be My Neighbor Day 2025
It was truly a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
With the help of our incredible nonprofit partners The Children Cabinet and Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and a community that showed up big, from near and far, we successfully STUFFED the Camp RennerVation Bus full of essential supplies, non-perishable food, and school items for families, teachers, and foster youth in need.
The spirit of neighborly love and generosity was alive and thriving! It was so moving to see our community rally together to uplift those who need it most.
Thank you for your compassion, your energy, and your support. Together, we’re building a stronger, kinder community—one neighbor at a time.
Camp RennerVation Session 1 & 2
Summer 2025 Sessions
Camp RennerVation is nestled in the wilderness and offer's boundless opportunities for children to connect with the world around them and each other.
​
Here, they can find solace, create friendships, find lifelong mentors, and cultivate essential life skills beyond the confines of traditional education. For siblings separated by the foster care system, Camp RennerVation reunites them in shared moments of joy and connection.
​
Children that are experiencing complex emotions related to their family status will be given attention, affirmation, coping strategies, and a safe place where they can leave their troubles at home.
Valley's North High School Foster Fashion Donation
May 29, 2025
Working with the Education Alliance, we identified NVHS as a perfect fit for a large Foster Fashion donation. NVHS is Title 1 eligible but not funded. The student body consists of approx 2400 students and is a great cross section of the Washoe County School District.
The students started the morning off with a spectacular Hallway Parade to celebrate another fantastic school year and their academic and extracurricular successes. The students have done a great job this year with community fundraisers and spirit days such as “Disney Day” and now with the help of our Foster Fashion, Buy One - Give One program, next school year they can celebrate with a “Tie Dye Spirit Day” to bring recognition and highlight one of the 4 pillars the schools’ culture is built on -“Connect students to school”!
Courage Worldwide Child Sex Trafficking Summit

We’re truly honored to have participated in the @courageworld @nevadachildrennotforsale End Child Sex Trafficking Summit in Reno. This event served as a crucial platform to raise awareness about this pressing issue within the state of Nevada, which is one of the states with the largest amount of reported cases of child sex trafficking. Our President and CEO, Kym Renner, made a significant impact as a panelist, sharing insights and advocating for our most vulnerable citizens.
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Advocacy & Justice Complex
In April, our Vice President Shana Rogers, joined Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada as they broke ground on their future home of hope and justice: Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Advocacy & Justice Complex. The Advocacy & Justice Center will be a place where survivors of violent crime find hope, where families in crisis are supported, and where the elderly are protected.
Wilber D. May Museum Day

We are incredibly grateful to the Wilbur D. May Museum for hosting an amazing RennerVation Day on March 16th. This special event allowed 100 foster and at-risk youth & their families to enjoy an unforgettable day exploring the museum and experiencing the captivating Lost World of Dragons exhibit—all free of charge!
